Over de functie

War Child Nederland is looking for an intern to support the Institutional Funding team on the Dutch Relief Alliance (DRA) account. This hands-on internship offers real responsibility, coaching, and the chance to contribute to humanitarian joint responses. You will work in a hybrid setup from the Amsterdam office.

Wat ga je doen

  • Provide general DRA account management support: trackers, annual action plans, checklists, meeting scheduling, minute taking, and action follow up
  • Support preparation, review, and filing of Inter Agency Agreements, Grant Agreements, and Sub Grant Agreements
  • Support Rafiki data quality checks for DRA reporting
  • Maintain and close project documentation and folders; ensure accurate filing
  • Ensure quarterly meetings take place; collect and file required information; set agendas
  • Support specific Joint Responses (Syria, Gaza, Ukraine) and other tasks; assist with proposal development, training, and report reviewing

Wat je meebrengt

  • Registered as a student at a Dutch educational institution for the full internship period
  • Background in social or development studies (or related field)
  • Proactive, eager to learn, able to take initiative
  • Strong organisational skills, accuracy, comfort with administrative tasks
  • Excellent written and spoken English (fluency required)
  • Available for a minimum of 5 months, 4 days per week

  • Experience with NGOs and/or humanitarian contexts is an advantage
