FutureWhiz is looking for a Medior AI Product Engineer to build and own AI-assisted applications from prototype to production. You'll work across the full stack, integrating LLM and agent-based workflows into existing publishing systems. This hybrid role is based in Amsterdam.

Wat ga je doen

  • Build and own AI-assisted applications from prototype to production
  • Develop across the stack: Python services, APIs, data flows, user interfaces, infrastructure
  • Build and improve LLM and agent-based workflows including prompts, evaluations, feedback loops, safeguards
  • Turn findings from editorial research and user testing into technical approaches
  • Create small experiments to resolve uncertainty before larger builds
  • Integrate new tools into existing publishing systems and contribute reusable components

Wat je meebrengt

  • Hands-on experience building and shipping web applications or software products
  • Confident with Python and comfortable moving between backend, frontend and infrastructure work
  • Use AI tools actively and critically to develop faster and learn unfamiliar areas
  • Interested in LLM-powered products and experimented with model APIs or agent workflows
  • Think like a product builder: clarify problems, suggest options, test assumptions
  • Can independently own a well-defined problem while recognizing when input from colleagues is needed

Mooi meegenomen

  • Experience with React or TypeScript
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD
  • Experience with LLM evaluation, data analysis or applied machine learning
  • Experience in education, publishing or content systems
