Aquablu B.V. is looking for a Technical Procurement Specialist to join their team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will optimize costs and supplier performance for engineered parts, supporting new product development and production.

Wat ga je doen

• Build should-cost models from technical drawings
• Challenge design specifications to reduce cost
• Qualify suppliers based on capability audits
• Negotiate price and terms including tooling ownership and MOQ
• Develop alternate sources for critical parts
• Source for new product development

Wat je meebrengt

• Four or more years in procurement or strategic sourcing of engineered parts
• Able to read technical drawings and discuss tolerances and materials
• Hands-on experience with machining, casting, sheet metal, moulding, or electro-mechanical assembly
• Experience building should-cost or teardown models
• Demonstrated savings with clear explanation of source
• Fluent English and right to work in the Netherlands
