Planet is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Haarlem. You will build and maintain distributed services and APIs, collaborating with engineers and product managers across teams.

- Build and maintain distributed services and APIs in Go, Java, or Python
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers across teams
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and documented production code
- Participate in code reviews
- Use AI tooling in development
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response

- 6+ years of software development in production environment
- Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent experience
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with GCP or AWS
- Experience with diverse data storage systems
