Dow Jones is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join their team in Utrecht. In this role, you will rebuild critical system components and transition backend services from PHP to Go, while also upgrading internal tools for data validation workflows.

- Upgrade and optimize internal tools for data validation workflows
- Identify and propose improvements to product, architecture, and systems
- Provide input on priorities and manage technical roadmap with product manager
Wat je meebrengt
- 4+ years professional software engineering experience
- At least 2 years hands-on Go or PHP (Laravel) development
- Strong capability with Google Cloud Platform, MySQL, Postgres, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Experience with testing and passion for code maintainability and readability
