Optics11 is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will develop and maintain embedded software throughout the product lifecycle, design embedded Linux applications, and own software workstreams.

Develop and maintain embedded software throughout product lifecycle
Translate requirements into reliable, testable software designs
Design and integrate embedded Linux applications, APIs, and diagnostics
Own software workstreams and mature existing stacks
Develop testing, automation, CI/CD, and release processes
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical guidance

Wat je meebrengt

BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
5+ years experience in embedded Linux software development
Strong C++ and/or Python skills for Linux userspace
Experience with embedded Linux, hardware/software interaction
Experience with Git, CMake, unit testing, code reviews
Eligible for EU/NATO/security screening

Mooi meegenomen

Experience with Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ or heterogeneous SoCs
Experience interfacing Linux with FPGA-based systems
Experience with real-time or high-throughput data acquisition
Hands-on Linux kernel work beyond fixes
Experience in multidisciplinary product development
Familiarity with systems engineering and product lifecycle management
