Optics11 is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will develop mechanical solutions for the OptiArray system, focusing on offshore deployment and structural integrity. You will work on design, analysis, and integration of components for advanced marine systems.

Develop and realize mechanical and structural solutions for the OptiArray system
Translate product and system requirements into mechanical designs for offshore deployment
Design and integrate structural components, interfaces, and corrosion protection
Produce engineering drawings, specifications, and design records
Perform structural analyses and testing for loads and fatigue
Support product integration, verification, and industrialization

Wat je meebrengt

BSc or MSc in Mechanical, Structural, Marine, Offshore Engineering, or Naval Architecture
Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore, marine, mechanical, or structural systems
Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD systems
Experience designing marine products or subsea mechanical systems
Experience with structural calculations and load analysis
Eligible to obtain EU/NATO security clearance

Mooi meegenomen

Experience with corrosion protection or cathodic protection
Hands-on experience with SolidWorks for detailed production drawings
Experience owning a system or technical workstream in multidisciplinary projects
Familiarity with systems engineering and product lifecycle management
