Monumental is seeking a Mechanical Engineer, Reliability to join their team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will ensure that robots operate reliably on construction sites for extended periods with minimal downtime. You will work on improving hardware design and managing the process from field failure discovery to validated fixes deployed across the fleet.

Ensure robots operate on construction sites for months with minimal downtime
Understand robot hardware and failure modes, improve design for reliability
Manage the loop from field failure discovery to validated fix shipped to fleet
Define validation criteria and design reliability test rigs for hardware
Collaborate with maintenance team to address pain points

Wat je meebrengt

2+ years experience in reliability and test engineering, ideally in robotics
Strong experience with environmental and mechanical reliability tests
Experience making and repairing electromechanical assemblies
Experience shipping hardware from prototype to medium-series production
Strong knowledge of GD&T and producing 2D and 3D drawings

Mooi meegenomen

BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
Delivered complex electromechanical assemblies operating at scale in harsh environments
Experience developing accelerated life reliability tests
Experience with electric motors, gearboxes, or actuators
