Adyen is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join their team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will focus on developing tooling and automation for distributed data stores, ensuring scalability and high availability. You will collaborate closely with platform and infrastructure teams to optimize performance.

- Develop tooling and automation with Python or Go for distributed data stores
- Design and optimize distributed data stores for scalability and high availability
- Implement data partitioning, clustering, and sharding strategies
- Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in production environments
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation once or twice a month
Wat je meebrengt
- Experience with distributed data stores like Cassandra, Redis, Clickhouse
- Solid programming experience in Python or Go
- Familiar with partitioning, replication, consistency models, and CAP theorem
- Proven ability to troubleshoot in large-scale production environments
- Proactive problem solver and team player
