Datasnipper is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Financial Statement Suite team in Amsterdam. You will design and build production APIs and services in Python and C#, develop AI-powered agents and workflows, and contribute to the React front end. This hybrid role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge financial statement automation.

  • Design and build production APIs and services in Python and C# for financial statement review workflows
  • Develop AI-powered agents and workflows that automate preparation and checking of financial statements
  • Contribute to the React web front end for auditor review and approval
  • Integrate with Azure and its AI services
  • Implement security controls aligned with OWASP and OWASP GenAI guidance
  • Participate in on-call rotation and ensure stability of shipped features

Wat je meebrengt

  • 7+ years of experience building applications with a modern backend stack
  • Experience with an object-oriented language (Python preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with TypeScript and a modern front-end framework such as React
  • Strong experience building, deploying, and maintaining APIs on a major cloud platform (Azure used)
  • Strong fundamentals of software architecture and system design
  • Experience with relational and document-based databases

Mooi meegenomen

  • Experience building or integrating AI agentic applications in production (LLM orchestration, RAG, evals, prompt engineering)
  • Experience with document processing (OCR, PDF extraction, layout parsing)
  • Domain experience in audit, accounting, or fintech
  • Exposure to Event-Driven Architecture and Domain-Driven Design principles
  • Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives
