Flexport is looking for a Staff Software Engineer in Applied AI to join their Amsterdam team. In this role, you will design and ship end-to-end AI agents for logistics tasks, working across the organization to understand problems and align stakeholders. You will move quickly from idea to production, treating each deployment as a learning opportunity.

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience
  • Extensive experience building with LLMs in production or side projects
  • Strong product instincts to identify what is worth building
  • LLM fluency in agent patterns, RAG, prompt engineering, tool use, evaluation
  • Full-stack capability in TypeScript and Next.js
  • Entrepreneurial drive, thrive in ambiguity, move fast without waiting for instructions
