About the job

As a Consultant Data Engineer at Sia, you will work on client projects and build Sia AI solutions. You will manage cloud services, containerization, and data pipelines in a Big Data environment.

What you will do

  • Work on client projects and build Sia AI solutions
  • Manage cloud services on GCP, AWS, Azure
  • Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
  • Develop server-side tools with Python
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines
  • Build data pipelines in Big Data environments

What you bring

  • Master's degree with strong quantitative component
  • 1-3 years of experience in Data, DevOps, Cloud, or Software Engineering
  • Good level in Python and solid foundation in other languages
  • Familiar with at least one SQL DBMS
  • Comfortable using Docker and automating CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent English and Dutch verbal and written skills

Nice to have

  • Familiar with cloud services platform (GCP, AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Mastery of Gitlab-CE ecosystem
  • Familiar with Infrastructure as Code tools (ideally Terraform)
  • Experience with noSQL (ideally MongoDB)
  • Experience in implementing application protection solutions
