Enjins is looking for a Lead AI Engineer to shape AI strategies and drive them from design to production in Amsterdam. This hybrid role combines technical leadership with client-facing responsibilities, offering the chance to influence AI roadmaps and engineering standards across a diverse portfolio.
What you will do
- Design AI roadmaps with client leadership and own them through to production
- Create and implement AI solution architectures
- Set and uphold Data Platform and MLOps standards across client portfolio
- Mentor engineers and contribute to hiring and team growth
- Advance engineering practice including agentic coding workflows
- Elevate product mindset to build the right things
What you bring
- 5+ years building and scaling data & AI solutions in production
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with production-grade code and infrastructure knowledge
- Mastery of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience leading MLOps/LLMOps architectures
- Proven experience taking LLM-based or agentic systems to production
- Experience mentoring engineers, overseeing delivery, and managing client accounts
