Sia is looking for a Senior Consultant Energy System Planning to join their team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will work on projects for grid operators focusing on long-term grid planning and system integration. You will contribute to decisions that address costs, socio-economic welfare, and CO2 changes.

What you will do

Work on projects for grid operators on long-term grid planning and system integration
Contribute to grid planning decisions addressing costs, socio-economic welfare, and CO2 changes
Perform stakeholder management, business analysis, project management, and data analysis
Help develop the team through strategy, business development, recruitment, and training

What you bring

Educational background in energy systems or sustainable energy technologies
At least 4 years relevant working experience or PhD
Understanding of long-term scenarios in energy policy and large projects
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Good understanding of DSO and TSO business and operations
Professional Dutch and English language skills

Nice to have

Experience as a consultant for a grid operator
Familiarity with integrated energy system planning concepts
Fluency in German
