Supply Chain Quality Engineer

About the job

Aquablu B.V. is looking for a Supply Chain Quality Engineer to ensure quality across its supplier base in Amsterdam. In this hybrid role, you will qualify new suppliers, manage audits, and drive continuous improvement using statistical methods.

What you will do

• Qualify new suppliers through PPAP/APQP process
• Assess supplier process capability (Cp/Cpk)
• Approve visual and master samples, quality and tooling agreements
• Plan and run periodic audits of qualified suppliers
• Build and maintain supplier scorecards on defect rates, delivery, responsiveness
• Manage supplier corrective actions from containment to verification

What you bring

• Hands-on APQP and PPAP experience in manufacturing or product development
• Experience with supplier quality management: audits, scorecards, corrective action
• Able to read technical drawings, tolerances, and CTQ characteristics
• Working knowledge of process capability (Cp/Cpk) and statistical quality methods
• Documentation discipline to maintain structured quality records
• Fluent English and right to work in the Netherlands (no visa sponsorship)

• Experience distilling heavyweight quality processes into pragmatic ones
• Building quality in a scaling company without slowing it down
• Working with a supplier base across multiple part types and geographies
• Using AI in daily workflow and having a builder's instinct
