Leaseweb is looking for a System Engineer to focus on Public Cloud Scalability. In this role, you will design, implement, and monitor public cloud infrastructure while ensuring service availability. You will also lead automation efforts and provide 3rd line incident support.

What you will do

Design, implement and monitor Public Cloud infrastructure
Lead implementation of repetitive and complex tasks for operational benefit
Ensure availability of all Public Cloud services
Regular on-call duty
Identify and propose solutions for improvements or structural problems
3rd line incident support

What you bring

Experience with Python or Golang for automation and testing
Knowledge of Linux operating systems, preferably Ubuntu
Excellent knowledge of virtualization technologies: KVM, QEMU, libvirt
Experience with configuration management: Chef, Kubernetes
Experience with MySQL and Galera cluster
Switch management: Arista or Juniper

Nice to have

Experience with Shell/Bash
Experience with monitoring platforms: Prometheus, Nagios or Icinga
Driven to improve quality and prevent incidents
