About the job

CM.com is looking for an Internal Auditor to strengthen its audit function in Breda. In this role, you will align audit activities with the company's strategy and help ensure compliance with key regulations, including the EU AI Act. You will work in an international environment and contribute to the continuous improvement of governance, risk, and control processes.

What you will do

  • Align audit plan with company strategy and strategic risks
  • Maintain Internal Audit Charter, methodology, and risk-based audit plans
  • Perform operational, financial, IT, security, and compliance audits
  • Report on follow-up of non-conformities and corrective actions
  • Audit the company's use of AI, including governance and EU AI Act compliance
  • Assess compliance with regulations and codes such as Dutch Corporate Governance Code, DORA, PSD2, GDPR, CSRD

What you bring

  • Master's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or IT Audit
  • Several years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk & control
  • Strong knowledge of COSO, IIA standards, IFRS, and internal control over financial reporting
  • Strategic and commercial awareness
  • Independent, analytical, and hands-on mindset
  • Professional proficiency in English and Dutch

Nice to have

  • RA, CIA, CISA, RO or CRMA qualification
  • Experience at a listed company or big 4 firm
  • Experience reporting to an Audit Committee or Supervisory Board
  • Experience with ISO standards and management system audits
  • Experience in an internationally operating organization
