Shapeways is looking for a Head of Software Engineering to lead the daily operations of their engineering team in Eindhoven. You will own the MES and ERP systems, prioritize AI investments, and contribute hands-on to the codebase.
What you will do
- Lead engineering team daily operations
- Own MES and ERP systems
- Prioritize AI investments and adoption
- Manage project prioritization and sequencing
- Contribute hands-on to codebase
- Serve as first point of contact for engineering questions
What you bring
- 2-4 years of engineering management experience
- Strong hands-on experience with PHP/Symfony and MySQL
- Interest in people leadership
- Good project management instincts
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Kubernetes, GitOps, containerization
