About the job

NTS is looking for a Procurement Manager to lead the procurement strategy for its Mechatronics Assembly division in Eindhoven. In this role, you will manage a team of buyers and shape the local supplier base, while working closely with global procurement leadership. You will play a key part in connecting procurement with new product introduction projects, ensuring a smooth transition to series production.

What you will do

  • Develop the procurement strategy and policy for Mechatronics Assembly and translate these into annual plans and objectives
  • Lead strategic/tactical buyers and project buyers, investing in their development
  • Manage the local supplier base, from acquisition and selection to contracting and supplier development
  • Manage supplier performance and procurement KPIs such as OTIF, quality, lead time, and cost price, and translate these into improvement actions
  • Ensure a strong connection between procurement and NPI projects, from initial supplier selection to stable handover to series production
  • Align closely with the Global Director Procurement and Category Managers, translating group category strategies to the local context

What you bring

  • Completed HBO or WO education, preferably in Technical Business Administration, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a technical direction
  • Demonstrated experience as a leader of procurement teams, preferably with strategic/tactical buyers and project buyers
  • Experience with supplier acquisition, performance management, and setting up and improving procurement processes
  • Broad knowledge of strategic procurement, contract management, and supplier development, possibly supplemented with NEVI certification
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and strong analytical skills, and excellent command of Dutch and English
