Fortanix is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join their team in Eindhoven in a hybrid setup. In this role, you will build and evolve the product and infrastructure security function, working closely with engineering teams to ensure robust security practices.
What you will do
- Build and evolve product and infrastructure security function
- Define and implement security best practices
- Review architecture, code, and deployments for vulnerabilities
- Develop and automate security analysis tools
- Partner with engineering teams to remediate security issues
- Communicate with customers and third parties about security
What you bring
- 5+ years security engineering experience
- Advanced Python programming skills
- Strong understanding of application and infrastructure security
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP security controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- EU residence with valid work authorization
Nice to have
- Penetration testing or offensive security experience
- Ability to analyze Rust, C/C++, or Go code
- Security certifications like OSCP, GSEC, SSCP, or CEH
- Experience with PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, DORA
