About the job
Xebia is looking for a Fabric Data Engineer to join their team in Hilversum. In this role, you will design end-to-end data architectures using Microsoft Fabric and guide stakeholders through adoption.
What you will do
- Design end-to-end data architectures using Microsoft Fabric
- Build and optimize data pipelines with Spark, Dataflows Gen2, and ELT/ETL
- Define data governance frameworks including domains, workspaces, and security
- Create semantic models and datasets for BI and real-time analytics
- Integrate Fabric with Azure services like ADLS, Event Hub, and Databricks
- Guide stakeholders through Fabric adoption with workshops and knowledge transfer
What you bring
- 4–8+ years in data engineering, cloud analytics, or consultancy
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric components
- Skills in Python, SQL, Spark, Delta Lake, and distributed compute
- Familiarity with Azure data ecosystem
- Understanding of governance practices
Nice to have
- Microsoft certifications DP-600, DP-203, AZ-305, PL-300
