Devleaps is looking for a Senior Data Consultant to join their team in Hoofddorp. In this role, you will design and build scalable data pipelines and platforms, advise clients on data strategy, and implement robust data models. You'll collaborate with analytics and platform engineers to drive modern cloud data solutions.
What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platform components
- Develop robust data models and abstractions for analytics and reporting
- Advise clients on data platform strategy and translate business requirements into technical architectures
- Implement ELT/ETL pipelines and ensure data quality across systems
- Collaborate with analytics engineers, platform engineers, and infrastructure teams
- Contribute to the design and evolution of modern cloud data platforms
What you bring
- Proven experience in Data Engineering, Data Modeling or Data Platform Engineering (typically 4–6 years)
- Good understanding of Data Lakehouse architecture
- Hands-on experience with dbt, SQL, and Python
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS
- Comfortable working in a client-facing or consulting environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and an engineering mindset
Nice to have
- Experience with Spark / PySpark
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK)
- Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle
