What you will do
- Research computational methods for high-velocity impact simulation
- Perform experimental testing and literature review
- Implement and develop computational models
- Create surrogate models using machine learning and model order reduction
- Integrate tools into design optimization framework
What you bring
- Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering with focus on computational mechanics
- Experience with Finite Element Modelling, aerospace structures, and damage mechanics
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to balance broad research scope and real-world application
