About the job
FedEx is looking for a Clearance Broker Associate to support its clearance operations in the Netherlands. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments while maintaining strong relationships with customers and agencies.
What you will do
- Review shipment data and check documentation accuracy
- Create clearance declarations using in-house systems
- Contact customers or agencies to clarify information
- Resolve routine customer and customs disputes
- Build customer relationships and advise on clearance services
- Work under tight deadlines in a busy office
What you bring
- Excellent Dutch language skills, spoken and written
- Good teamwork in a busy office environment
- Customer focus and strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and sound numerical decisions
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good Microsoft Office and PC skills
Nice to have
- Experience or knowledge of clearance principles, import/export processes, CHIEF entries, commercial flights
