About the job

Sopra Steria is seeking a Mechanisms Engineer to provide technical support to ESA space programmes from phase 0 to phase E. In this role, you will review industry proposals, support CDF studies, and assist in resolving critical development problems.

What you will do

Provide technical support to ESA space programmes from phase 0 to phase E, including design reviews and hardware assessment
Review industry proposals during ITT process as external technical expert
Support CDF studies with engineering assessment and analysis
Identify critical development problems and assist in resolution
Support design follow-up, cross analyses, and design review organization
Participate in failure/NCR investigations, progress meetings, safety panels, and payload safety reviews

What you bring

Master's in engineering or relevant discipline
4 years of experience in space mechanisms
Fluency in English (spoken and written)

Nice to have

Experience with ESA projects
