About the job
IFS is looking for an Assistant Controller to support the financial operations at its location in Nunspeet. In this role, you will contribute to accurate reporting and process improvements within a dynamic, international environment.
What you will do
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
- Review and process financial data
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Identify and follow up on discrepancies in financial administration
- Perform intercompany reconciliations between international entities
- Support external audits and compliance filings
What you bring
- Completed MBO+/HBO-level degree in Finance, Business Economics, Accountancy or comparable
- Practical experience in Finance or Accountancy through internship, graduation project, or first job
- Accurate and structured working style
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Initiative and comfort asking questions
- Proficient in Excel and willing to learn new systems
