About the job
Boskalis is looking for a Senior Naval Architect to join their team in Papendrecht. In this role, you will analyze customer demand, develop concept designs, and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors. You will also serve as the back office for the shipyard site team during construction.
What you will do
- Analyze customer demand and develop concept design
- Draw up budget and specifications
- Recruit subcontractors and suppliers
- Communicate with suppliers and monitor new products
- Involve external expertise and classification societies early
- Serve as back office for shipyard site team during construction
What you bring
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Naval Architecture
- Proven experience in design and calculations of vessels
- At least 10 years’ work experience
- Knowledge of classification society rules
- Excellent command of Dutch and English
- Willing to travel internationally 10-20%
