About the job

Boskalis is looking for a Tax Specialist to support its quarterly and annual tax reporting process. In this role, you will coordinate with local finance teams and external advisors to ensure accurate tax data. You will also help professionalize tax accounting processes and documentation.

What you will do

Coordinating and supporting quarterly and annual tax reporting process, including calculation and review of current tax, deferred tax, effective tax rate analysis and tax notes
Working with local finance teams and external advisors to collect, validate and analyse tax reporting data
Helping to professionalise tax accounting processes, internal controls, reporting instructions and documentation

What you bring

Relevant higher professional education degree (HBO) or higher in accounting, finance, tax accounting or tax
Relevant experience in tax reporting, tax accounting, audit or financial reporting in an international environment
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work confidently with financial data, reporting systems and deadlines
Accurate and structured working style
Clear communication in both Dutch and English

Nice to have

Affinity with tax accounting, financial reporting and the international maritime sector
