About the job

Payter B.V. is looking for a Backend Developer to join their team in Rotterdam. You will design, develop, and maintain backend services using Golang, building robust APIs for the payment platform.

What you will do

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Golang
Build and maintain robust APIs for the payment platform
Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders
Optimize existing applications for performance and reliability
Contribute to backend system architecture and improvement

What you bring

Proven experience in a similar Backend Developer role
Strong proficiency in Golang
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
Experience with RESTful API development and backend architecture
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

Experience with Java
Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform
Dutch language skills
