Sia is looking for a Consultant Data Engineer to join their team in Rotterdam. You will work on client projects and internal AI solutions using Google Cloud services. This role combines data engineering with cloud expertise.

What you will do

Work on client projects and internal AI solutions
Use Google Cloud services for data and AI workloads
Manage containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
Develop Python server-side tools
Implement CI/CD pipelines
Build data pipelines in Big Data environments

What you bring

Master's degree with quantitative component
1-3 years experience in Data, DevOps, Cloud, or Software Engineering
Good Python skills and foundation in other languages
Familiar with at least one SQL DBMS
Comfortable with Docker and CI/CD
Excellent English and Dutch verbal and written skills

Nice to have

Experience with noSQL like MongoDB
Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
Kubernetes competence
Gitlab-CE ecosystem mastery
Terraform knowledge
Experience with application security
