About the job
Mr. Marine is looking for a Service Engineer to maintain and repair ballast water treatment systems on vessels. This role involves both remote and on-site technical support, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
What you will do
- Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance of BWTS components
- Ensure equipment compliance with IMO and USCG regulations
- Test and validate systems, suggest improvements
- Calibrate instruments for accuracy
- Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions
- Provide remote and on-site technical support
What you bring
- Professional degree in engineering or vocational qualification
- 3-5 years of similar experience preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Flexible working hours including out-of-hours work
- Willingness to travel extensively and work onboard vessels
- Valid EU driving license type B
Nice to have
- Dutch language skills
