About the job

Delta Electronics is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the energy storage sector, focusing on Power Conversion Systems for Battery Energy Storage Systems. You will identify new opportunities and build strong customer relationships from the Soest office.

What you will do

Identify and qualify new business opportunities, deciding where to focus and building a clear path from first conversation to commercial result
Meet prospects and partners, listen to their technical and commercial needs, and translate those needs into credible value propositions
Develop and present tailored business cases, commercial models and proposals that make choices clear for customers
Track market signals, competitor activity and customer feedback, then turn what you learn into practical improvements
Create productive connections across customers, partners and internal teams, with transparent communication and reliable follow-through
Use agreed milestones and commercial indicators to make priorities, learning and results visible

What you bring

Full professional proficiency in English and German (mandatory)
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development with background or familiarity with PCS, BESS or related electrical/energy technologies
Bachelor/master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
High initiative with a proven focus on achieving ambitious growth targets and opening new doors
Ability to remain calm, structured, and objective when evaluating complex business scenarios or high-stakes negotiations
Exceptional capacity to listen deeply to client needs, observe market signals, and synthesize visual and auditory feedback into strategic actions

Nice to have

Additional languages are an asset
