Grafana Labs is looking for a Manager, Solutions Engineering to lead a presales team in the Netherlands. This remote-first role combines people management with hands-on technical sales, reporting on regional outcomes and partnering with sales leadership.
What you will do
- Attract, recruit, ramp and mentor a team of presales solution engineers
- Adopt a servant-based leadership and player/coach approach
- Own planning, actions and outcomes for the region
- Partner with sales leadership on customer programs and marketing initiatives
- Provide executive sponsorship for key accounts in the region
- Report on team cadence and help prospects evaluate software
What you bring
- Some experience leading a team
- 5-10 years in high tech industry as Developer, Architect, Sales Engineer, or Manager
- Proven success in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment that is remote-first
- Proven track record of mentoring and managing performance
- Direct experience implementing a formal sales methodology
- Located in the Netherlands
Nice to have
- Open Source selling or Cloud first/Product led sales experience
- Direct experience selling monitoring/data/visualisation products
- Second European language
