About the job
Everai is looking for a Security Engineer to strengthen its security posture. This is a fully remote role based in the Netherlands, focused on application security and vulnerability management.
What you will do
- Perform weekly code reviews to catch vulnerabilities
- Track and drive remediation of security vulnerabilities
- Coordinate external security audits and penetration tests
- Maintain and evolve risk register
- Run phishing simulations and security training
- Monitor security channels and alerts including weekend coverage
What you bring
- Solid experience in application security (code review, vulnerability management)
- Experience coordinating or conducting penetration tests or security audits
- Comfortable shipping code and working with Git/GitHub workflows
- Scripting or automation skills
- Strong communication and collaborative skills, fluent in English
- Goal-oriented, ownership, and commitment
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI/LLM security concepts (prompt injection, jailbreaking, adversarial testing)
