About the job
Enjins is looking for a Lead AI Engineer to join their team in Utrecht. In this role, you will design and implement AI roadmaps and solution architectures for clients, while setting standards for data platforms and MLOps. You will also mentor engineers and help shape the engineering practice.
What you will do
- Design AI roadmaps with client leadership and own them through to production
- Create and implement AI solution architectures
- Set and uphold Data Platform and MLOps standards across client portfolio
- Mentor engineers and contribute to hiring, team growth, and accounts
- Advance engineering practice including agentic coding workflows
- Elevate product mindset to ensure building the right things
What you bring
- 5+ years building and scaling data and AI solutions in production
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with production-grade code and infrastructure skills
- Mastery of at least one major cloud platform and experience leading MLOps or LLMOps architectures
- Proven experience taking LLM-based or agentic systems to production
- Experience mentoring engineers, overseeing delivery, and managing client accounts
- Fluent in English and eligible to work in the Netherlands
