Deployteq is looking for a PHP Software Engineer to join their team in Utrecht. In this role, you will design and implement new product features, provide technical guidance, and support junior developers.

What you will do

Design, develop and implement new product features and enhancements
Translate complex concepts into structured software solutions
Provide technical input and guidance on complex challenges
Deliver second-line support for technical issues and defects
Review and support the work of junior developers
Contribute to development and testing environments

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in software development
Experience with object-oriented development and web technologies
Strong understanding of IT systems, computing, and internet technologies
Ability to translate abstract concepts into practical solutions
Proficiency in PHP or Go, MySQL, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Argo)

Nice to have

Experience with Clickhouse
Experience with Linux
Experience with JavaScript
Experience with RabbitMQ
Experience with Redis
