EVERIENCE is looking for a Senior Java Developer to strengthen the team in Utrecht. The role focuses on developing Java and Spring Boot components, supporting integrations, and delivering migrations to Azure and AKS. You will contribute to critical operational processes and promote modern engineering practices.
What you will do
- Develop Java and Spring Boot components and integrations
- Support consuming systems in connecting to a new message format
- Deliver migration to Azure and AKS
- Deliver new functionality for critical operational processes
- Assess technical choices for simplicity, quality, feasibility
- Apply and promote modern engineering, testing, and DevOps practices
What you bring
- HBO or WO level of thinking and working
- Minimum 5 years recent experience as Senior Java Developer
- Deep hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and container platforms, preferably AKS
- Extensive experience with asynchronous messaging, REST services, and integrations
- Excellent command of Dutch language
Nice to have
- Experience with complex real-time or mission-critical systems
- Experience with migrations from private cloud to Azure
