AEGIR-Marine is looking for a Quality Control Operator to join their team in Wijk bij Duurstede. In this role, you will perform inspections on mechanical parts and assemblies to ensure they meet technical specifications and quality standards. You will work in a specialized technical environment within the maritime industry.
What you will do
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on mechanical parts and assemblies
- Read and inspect according to technical drawings, dimensions, and tolerances
- Carry out measurements using inspection and measurement tools (2D/3D)
- Verify compliance with customer specifications, internal procedures, and quality standards
- Identify, document, and report deviations or non-conformities
- Maintain inspection records and ensure traceability

- Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Excellent focus and attention to detail
- Hands-on mindset with structured and methodical way of working
- Comfortable working independently after training and as a team player
- Willingness to learn inspection techniques, quality standards, and new technologies
- Knowledge of dimensions and tolerances is essential
Nice to have
- Technical background or shipyard/production environment experience
- Experience with inspection and measurement tools, 2D/3D measurement, or metrology
- Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO, ASTM, or similar
- Interest in or basic knowledge of CMM measurement systems, CAD, or metrology software
