Syngenta Group is looking for a Phenomics Specialist to lead digital phenotyping activities and data analysis at trial sites in Enkhuizen. You will test drone imaging and sensor technologies, manage proof-of-concept projects, and support the implementation of validated phenotyping tools.

Execute digital phenotyping activities and data analysis at trial locations
Test and evaluate drone imaging and sensor technologies
Lead proof-of-concept projects with success criteria and recommendations
Support implementation of validated phenotyping tools
Collaborate with global teams on data processing and trait extraction
Serve as point of contact for phenomics questions in Western Europe

Wat je meebrengt

MSc or PhD in plant sciences, agronomy, remote sensing, or agricultural engineering
3-7 years of experience in field phenotyping, precision agriculture, or crop research
Hands-on experience with drone operations and sensors like RGB, multispectral, or thermal
Knowledge of image processing, geospatial data, and tools like QGIS, Python, or R
Experience in designing and conducting field trials
Fluent English and EU drone pilot certificate or willingness to obtain it
