Lely is looking for a Data & Research Expert to bridge the gap between data and scientific theory in dairy farming. In this hybrid role based in Maassluis, you will investigate complex questions, analyze sensor and performance data, and collaborate with international colleagues.

Investigate complex questions in dairy farming and connect data with scientific theory
Formulate research questions and identify research partners
Support internal and external research with data and methodological expertise
Analyze trends and patterns in sensor and performance data and create visualizations
Develop analytical tools and provide training to advisors
Collaborate with international colleagues and data specialists

Wat je meebrengt

Completed master's or PhD in animal sciences, livestock farming, or related field
At least five years of experience in data analysis or applied scientific research
Experience initiating, conducting, or supervising scientific research and relevant network
Strong experience with Python, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, and Tableau
Ability to connect different perspectives
Excellent command of English in word and writing
