Flow Traders is looking for a Trading Systems Engineer to join their Amsterdam team. In this role you will work on the infrastructure that powers a global trading firm, from cloud platforms to bare-metal systems. You will build and automate the foundation that keeps trading systems running reliably.

Write and maintain reusable Terraform modules for Linux fleet and cloud estate
Design CI/CD workflows and guardrails in GitHub Actions
Build and operate Kubernetes clusters and distributed systems like Kafka
Provision and manage cloud resources in GCP, AWS, and Alibaba Cloud
Automate and operate Linux estate using Foreman, Puppet, and Ansible
Build internal tooling in Python or Go with test-driven development

Wat je meebrengt

Strong Terraform experience with reusable modules
CI/CD experience, ideally with GitHub Actions guardrails
Solid Kubernetes in production with Helm and Argo
Hands-on experience provisioning GCP or AWS via Infrastructure as Code
Strong Linux fundamentals for debugging production hosts
Proficiency in Python or Go with test-driven development

Mooi meegenomen

Cross-domain background in both Linux/systems and cloud/platform
GCP as primary cloud experience
Kafka in production
Experience with Puppet, Ansible, AWX, and Foreman
Bare-metal and datacenter infrastructure knowledge
Financial services or trading environment experience
