Flow Traders is looking for a Trading Tools Software Engineer to join their Amsterdam team. You will engineer and evolve a high-performance, distributed trading platform, partnering with quants and traders to turn requirements into technical solutions.

Engineer and evolve a high-performance, distributed trading platform
Partner with quants, traders, and business stakeholders to transform requirements into technical solutions
Mentor and inspire junior engineers
Champion innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and integrating third-party tools
Own software quality from end to end through code reviews, testing, deployment, and adoption

Wat je meebrengt

Previous working experience in professional software development with a strongly typed language like C++, Java, Rust
In-depth understanding of algorithms and data structures
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Strong sense of teamwork and ownership and willingness to learn new skills
Experienced in using LLM augmented development and rapid prototyping
Comfortable participating in on-call operations rotation

Previous experience in the Trading industry
Proficiency in Python
