BIQH is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to optimize and maintain their Microsoft SQL Server environment. In this role, you will monitor database health, analyze performance, and modernize infrastructure.

What you will do

• Optimize and maintain SQL Server environment
• Monitor database health and identify performance bottlenecks
• Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries and execution plans
• Improve SQL import processes and ETL statements
• Plan and execute SQL Server upgrades and migrations
• Modernize database infrastructure and establish best practices

What you bring

• Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server environments
• Understanding of SQL Server architecture, performance tuning, and administration
• Experience monitoring SQL Server activity and identifying performance bottlenecks
• Ability to analyze and optimize complex SQL queries and execution plans
• Experience improving SQL import processes, ETL statements, and database performance
• Knowledge of indexing strategies, statistics, maintenance plans, backup & recovery, and high availability concepts

Nice to have

• Experience planning and executing SQL Server upgrades and migrations
• Bachelor's or University degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
