About the job

As an R&D Packaging Intern at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS, you will support the development of sustainable packaging solutions. You will be involved in testing, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration in a global coffee and tea company.

What you will do

  • Support organization and analysis of drop and transit tests
  • Collect data and draw conclusions
  • Attend and present at product development meetings
  • Support factory trials and coordinate external tests
  • Conduct packaging tests and life cycle assessments
  • Maintain packaging sustainability database

What you bring

  • Enrolled in bachelor or master's program in Packaging, Sustainable Development, Economics with sustainability focus
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Structured approach, driven and energetic personality
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Available for at least 5 months, 5 days per week

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with food research activities
