About the job

Clifford Chance in Amsterdam is looking for a Commercial Advisor to act as a trusted partner to the firm's Partners and matter teams. In this role, you will take ownership of the billing process, drive financial performance, and provide data-driven insights to support business decisions.

What you will do

  • Act as trusted commercial adviser to Partners and matter teams
  • Own billing process for aligned Partner group
  • Drive regular WIP meetings with Partners and occasional debt chasing
  • Provide financial analysis and insights using data
  • Support month-end and year-end activities
  • Manage complex billing and eBilling matters

What you bring

  • At least five years of experience in working capital and billing
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Experience managing complex billing and eBilling
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems

Nice to have

  • Experience with Power BI
