Join Sia as a Consultant Data Engineer in Amsterdam. You will work on client projects, build internal AI solutions, and design cloud services across GCP, AWS, and Azure. This role is ideal for engineers with 1-3 years of experience who are ready to manage CI/CD pipelines and develop ETL data pipelines.

What you will do

Work on client projects and build internal AI solutions
Design and manage cloud services on GCP, AWS, Azure
Containerize and orchestrate applications with Docker and Kubernetes
Develop server-side tools in Python
Manage CI/CD pipelines for applications and data science projects
Build ETL data pipelines in Big Data environments

What you bring

Master's degree with strong quantitative component
1-3 years of relevant experience in Data, DevOps, Cloud or Software Engineering
Good level in Python and solid foundation in other languages
Familiar with at least one SQL DBMS (ideally PostgreSQL)
Comfortable using Docker and automating CI/CD pipelines
Excellent English and Dutch verbal and written skills

Nice to have

Familiar with at least one cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure)
Experience with Kubernetes
Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (ideally Terraform)
Experience with Gitlab-CE ecosystem
Knowledge of noSQL (ideally MongoDB)
Sensitive to security issues and experience with application protection
