About the job

As a Consultant Data Engineer at Sia, you'll work on client projects and build AI solutions. You'll design cloud architecture and manage services across GCP, AWS, and Azure, while developing and maintaining data pipelines in Big Data environments.

What you will do

Work on client projects and build Sia AI solutions
Design cloud architecture and manage services on GCP, AWS, Azure
Containerize and orchestrate applications with Docker and Kubernetes
Develop server-side Python tools for data processing and APIs
Manage CI/CD pipelines for applications and data science projects
Build and maintain data pipelines in Big Data environments

What you bring

Master's degree with strong quantitative component
1-3 years of experience in Data, DevOps, Cloud or Software Engineering
Good level in Python and solid foundation in other languages
Familiar with at least one SQL DBMS, ideally PostgreSQL
Comfortable using Docker and automating CI/CD pipelines
Excellent English and Dutch verbal and written skills

Nice to have

Familiar with noSQL, ideally MongoDB
Experience with cloud services platform (GCP, AWS, Azure)
Experience with Kubernetes
Mastery of Gitlab-CE ecosystem
Familiar with Infrastructure as Code tools, ideally Terraform
Experience with application protection solutions
