About the job

Xebia is looking for a Data Engineer to build and maintain data pipelines on Databricks, working long-term with clients in healthcare or banking. You will implement data systems at scale and help teams make informed decisions about their data landscape.

What you will do

Build and maintain data pipelines and integrations on Databricks
Implement data systems for storage, transformation, and processing at scale
Explain design choices and align team members
Help client teams make informed decisions about data landscape
Work long-term with clients in healthcare or banking
Iterate and refine systems after go-live

What you bring

At least 3 years of relevant work experience
Hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, workflows)
Understanding of cloud providers and their interaction with Databricks
Based in the Netherlands
Dutch professional-level proficiency

Nice to have

Contributions to open-source projects
