About the job
Metyis AG is looking for a Data Engineering Manager to lead technical roadmaps and architect solutions for clients in Amsterdam. You will drive development using Python, Spark, and Azure Cloud while coaching product team members to deliver data platforms and data products.
What you will do
- Lead technical roadmap for clients
- Architect technical and non-technical components
- Lead development using Python, Spark, RESTful API, Azure Cloud
- Steer technical excellence and consistency with frameworks
- Coach product team members
- Deliver data platforms and data products
What you bring
- 5-7 years in similar role with ETL on Azure
- Solid knowledge of data warehousing principles
- Understanding of cloud-based setups and CI/CD
- Experience with automated testing frameworks
- Understanding of Lambda and Kappa architectures
- Advanced SQL and data profiling skills
Nice to have
- Experience with Airflow, Kubernetes, Great expectations
- Basic knowledge of PowerBI
- Master's Degree
