About the job
Metyis AG is looking for a Data Science Associate to join their team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will perform data analysis across various domains and communicate insights to stakeholders.
What you will do
- Perform data analysis in Growth Revenue Management, Marketing Analytics, CLM/CRM Analytics or Risk Analytics
- Conduct analyses using tools like SAS, SPSS, Eviews, R, Python, SQL, Teradata, Hadoop, Access, Excel
- Communicate analyses via presentations
- Solve problems, disaggregate issues, develop hypotheses and actionable recommendations from data
- Prepare and facilitate workshops
- Manage stakeholders and communicate with executives
What you bring
- 3-5 years of professional work experience in analytics
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field
- Ability to think analytically, decompose problems, develop hypotheses and recommendations
- Strong technical skills in data analysis, statistics, and programming
- Strong working knowledge of Python, Hadoop, SQL, or R
- Working knowledge of Python data tools like Jupyter, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib
Nice to have
- Ability to talk the language of statistics, finance, and economics
